March 19, 2018

This week has been a lot of good change,

Monday was fun, it was Elder Smith's last before going back to Madagascar so we decided to celebrate with Sushi and Go-karting, the latter being really lame. Go-karts back home are much better.

Tuesday was a lot of goodbye visits for Elder Hawkins.

Wednesday we dropped him at the airport really early to get to Hermanus and got the other elders off to PE. I spent most of the afternoon with Elders Zander and Senikuraciri. That was fun. Once mine and Elder Zander's companions got in from PE, we took Elder Monoalibe home to unpack some stuff. We went to the area and had an appointment with Vuyo to prepare him for his baptism interview. After that we went back to the airport to pick up the elders coming from Cape Town. Once that was all done we could finally relax.

This week has been really good and I'm really enjoying my time with Elder Monoalibe. He's from Joburg in Hillborough. He stays right across from the temple in Joburg. He's a great guy and reminds me all the time of Elder Thulari.

We had two baptismal interviews on Sunday for Aphiwe and Vuyo- both powerful 19 year old guys from Ward 1 and 4. It's pretty exciting that we'll be having their baptism service this upcoming week.

Sunday we went to the hospital to give a less active lady a blessing... hospitals here are really interesting, but it's brand new so it was really nice.

Well, more fun and good work to come.

Elder Smith
